Since 1997, Charlene Huston has been telling stories in fabric, film and now children's books. As a self-taught artist, her illustrations present a childlike view of the world - easily accessible to anyone young-at-heart. Her custom story quilts have delighted children, adults and pets for decades. Drawn to the invisible threads that connect us all, her work often reveals the power of art to heal and how by slipping onto a magic carpet ride, anything is possible...
JAN DEWITT (1946-2022) & CHARLENE HUSTON (1957 -)
Partners in life, travel & story-telling for over a decade, Jan & Char collaborated on many levels. During the COVID lockdown from 2019/2021, they spent their time at home writing & illustrating children's books, and although Jan is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in these stories.
